Your Blood pt4 ~ *Final

       You couldn’t sleep, you wanted to go see the vampire. You peer at your father who was fast asleep. You swallow and get out of bed swiftly going out the door. Kid had told you where he would be staying in case you ever wanted to visit, which you did. Something about being around him made you happy. And for you, happy wasn’t common.
         You smile to yourself he wasn’t at all what you were expecting, well except for the power. You could sense his power and honestly it excited you, and you felt safe. “You shouldn’t be wandering around alone.” He breathes in your ear and you instinctively elbow his stomach. He coughs and you gasp.
          “Sorry! Are you okay?” You gasp touching his shoulder. He chuckles holding his stomach.
         “I deserved that. I got you this time though.” He teases, giving you a wink. You blink and relax, smiling and hugging his neck.
         “Punk,” You huff. He chuckles hugging you back.
        “What are you doing up?” He inquires releasing you when you pull back.
        “I couldn’t sleep, and wanted to come see you.” You admit sheepishly. He blinks at that and smiles softly.  
        “That so? Come on then.” He rumbles pulling you along.
        “Where we going?” You ask curiously.
        “I found an awesome spot earlier. You gotta see.” He rumbles.
       “Alright, can’t wait.”

       “Wow… You can see the whole town…” You breathe in awe. Your foot slips and you’re instantly pulled into his chest.
        “Careful…” He chuckles softly, relaxing a bit. “That scared me… I just imagined you falling…” His arms tighten around you at the thought. “Humans are fragile…”
         “Watch who you’re talking to Kid.” You giggle poking his nose. He blinks as you pull out of his arms and smirks. “Come catch me Kid.” You hum before back flipping off the edge.
         “___!” He gasps leaning over as you swing away on a grappling hook. He relaxes, no one else could scare him like you. “Oh I’m going to kick your ass...” He breathes giving chase.
        You touch down on the ground and weave around buildings quickly. You peer over your shoulder before looking ahead and stopping with a grin as the red haired vampire catches your waist. “Hiya.” You giggle.
         “If I were human that would’ve given me a heart attack, you little trickster.” He rumbles pulling you into him. His forehead touches yours as you giggle in amusement.
        “Sorry, you just make the cutest faces.” You snicker. He blinks before chuckling and kissing you deeply. You freeze in surprise, heartbeat picking up considerably.
         “Heh, that’s what get your heart racing? I like you too… I’ve been hooked since the moment we met.”
         “Geez… Who knew an alpha vampire could be so cheesy…” You blush hiding your face in his chest. He chuckles, fingers combing through your hair.
         “Shut up, I’m only being honest.” He rumbles. You giggle and look up at him, pecking his lips.
         “You realize you’re officially stuck with me now right?”
         “Great, I always wanted my own ___.” He smirks.
        “___.” A voice makes you look over and pale as your father steps out.
        “Dad….” You mutter, tensing as his gaze sweeps over Kid.
        “A new blood…. I’m disappointed, ___.” He breathes. You lash out with your dagger, deflecting the silver arrow he suddenly shot without warning. Kid tenses at that, of course he hadn’t seen that coming. “At least that’s something that stuck. Move to the side if you’re too weak to kill him.”
         “I can kill him. I just chose not to. I never agreed with your way of thinking anyway.” You murmur. This was bad, for both you and Kid. “Kid, get out of here, quickly.” You tell him.
        “What about you?” Kid murmurs.
       “I’ll be fine, he’s my dad.” You chuckle. He nods and swiftly disappears.
       “Protecting a vampire, did you really think I’ll be lenient?” Your father snarls.
       “Nope, but it got him away from you…. For now.” You hum. Surviving what came next would be a miracle. He was suddenly in front of you, eyes glinting.
         “I should’ve never wasted my time with you.” Akainu smacks you across the alley. You cough in some air and sit up. He was so damn fast. “You were supposed to be the one to carry my lineage.” His boot meets your chest and you go tumbling into a wall. “Such a waist…. Such a useless child.” He growls, drawing his dagger. “Disgrace….” He raises it to stab you.
        “Filthy half-blood.” You smirk fearlessly. His eyes glint red but the dagger is ripped from his hand. You both look up to see four pairs of glowing red eyes.
         “Get away from my woman before I rip your throat out.” Kid snarls, walking down the wall as Akainu's weapons are ripped from his grasp, building up on Kid’s arms.  
          “That’s my boy!” A woman giggles landing beside you. You blink at her and shiver from her power.
         “Alpha…” You murmur. She gives a wink, smiling.
         “But, I’m not the Alpha here.” She looks to Kid pointedly as he puts himself between you and Akainu.
        “Devils…. Looks like I have no choice…” Akainu snarls, arms turning into lava.
        “Half-Blood, you monster…. How many vampires have you drained…” A blond vampire growls.
        “Enough to take your precious alpha out.” Akainu growls eyes glowing.
         “As I said, I’m not the alpha here, and he’s pissed off now.” Alpha chuckles. Kid snarls, lunging forward, metallic arm shooting out and connecting with Akainu’s face, sending him into a building.
          “Never thought he’d find a girl… You okay?” Killer touches your shoulder.
           “I’m fine… Only a few broken ribs.”
           “Taking her in, training her, all that time spent with her and you can erase her just like that? I haven’t even been able to keep my mind off her since we met!” Kid growls. “You piece of shit, I’ll kill you for trying to take her away.” More metal builds up on Kid before he makes them fly at Akainu, clobbering him and covering him with metals.
          “Keep your head on Kid. It’ll take a bit more than that.” Alpha comments, folding her arms. Kid just nods starting toward the mass of melting metals. A dagger glints in his hand and you get to your feet carefully.
          “He feels like a alpha now…” You murmur.
          “Of course, vampires can change drastically when it comes to those they love.” The blond smiles. “I’m Sabo by the way, pleasure to meet you.”
         “___...” You murmur as Akainu bursts from the metal and roars, lunging at Kid. In the blink of an eye, Kid’s behind Akainu, the tip of a knife blade protruding from the half-blood's chest.
         “End of the line.” Kid breathes as Akainu’s skin cracks, becoming like stone instead of ash.
         “Nice…. So this is what happens to half bloods….” Alpha pokes at the stone.
          “What should we do with him?” Sabo asks.
          “Leave him. He’ll be a reminder to those who come onto my territory.” Kid says coming over to you and pulling you into his chest. “Anyone who tries to take what’s mine will not leave alive.” He rumbles, eyes glowing faintly. You blink up at him in surprise.
          “As you wish, Alpha Kid. Make sure you two are at my wedding.” Alpha grins before disappearing with Sabo.
          “I’ll uh, be at the apartment..” Killer waves before disappearing as well.
         “…. You were pretty cheesy. Again.” You tease Kid. “Couldn’t stop thinking about me huh?”
        “Shut up…” He chuckles looking at you with a smile. “I was more badass than cheesy.”
         “I did get chills… But…. What now Kid?” You murmur.
         “Well, first lets go back to the apartment so you can sleep, tomorrow we’ll find clothes for the wedding and…. Hmmm. I guess we’ll figure out the rest eventually.” He shrugs.
        “Wow, my boyfriend is the best planner.” You say sarcastically.
        “Right? I’m already such a great boyfriend.” He snickers.
        “Smartass… Kiss me already.” You giggle. He rumbles and kisses you deeply.
        “So demanding, who do you think you are?”
        “Your Alpha.” You smirk.
        “….. Fair Enough.”
