*Commission for :iconmushroomgrenade: Hope its what you were looking for!*

You were tired of it, people mistaking you for a young teenager when you were in fact in your twenties. You march into the cafe ill tempered after a cop had stopped you to tell you you should be in school. Even after you showed him your id he didn't apologize.

“What can I get you miss?” The Barista inquires. You blink and look up at him, acknowledging the x scar on his chin with your gaze before meeting his blue gaze.

“Five medium black coffees.” That'll surely help you seem more mature for the moment. His brow quirks slightly and he offers a nod.

“Alright, your name?” He inquires. You give him your name and pay for the coffees, watching him make them. He was really cute you had to admit, but you doubted he actually saw you. Your teenager look often made it easy for you to be overlooked.

You frown slightly at the thought, blinking back when he places the small cardboard tray before you.  Your eyes narrow slightly at your misspelled name and you glance at him. He offers a small meaningful smile so you inwardly sigh and take the tray to a table, sitting down and looking out the window as you drink one. Ack, so strong and bitter that your tongue wants to escape your mouth but you restrain it.

‘Mature drink… Mature drink… Am adult…’ You think to yourself, drinking still. ‘WHY DO THEY HATE SWEET? WHERE HAVE THEIR SOULS GONE?’ You inwardly demand, squeezing your eyes shut to restrain your tongue again. Something is placed on your table and you open your eyes, blinking at the sugar and creamer containers that suddenly sat on your table. Your eyes trail to the Barista’s back as he retreats back behind the counter.

A blush rises to your cheeks as you realize he must've seen you making faces over the coffee.  You quickly look out the window in an attempt to hide your embarrassment, adding some sugar and creamer to the coffee. ‘Next time I'll be able to do it…’

“Just how much coffee have you had today…” Your coworker questions as you quickly paint the wall.

“Five! And one was mostly black!” You respond swiftly.

“.... I don't think someone your… Size… Should be drinking so-” He cuts himself off when your head whips around to look at him.

“Size…” You challenge. He takes a step back, raising his hands slightly.

“You're small, it cant be good for you.” He points out. You growl at him before focusing on your wall.

“Five black coffees please.” You request the Barista. He blinks at you, lips twitching slightly before he nods. You give your name again and pay. Its been a day or two since your last visit, but he seemed to remember you. Again when you get your coffee you glance at the name, the misspelling was very noticeable this time. Your eyes glint to his name tag, Drake. “Thanks DrAck.” You hum on purpose before going to your seat. You spare a glance back, he was clearly echoing how you said his name with furrowed eyebrows. It was kind of cute.

“.... You're going to die.” He sighs as you dash past with paint.

“Law you worry too much!” You gasp quickly, but pause and huff, touching your chest.

“What's going on?” Law questions slightly alarmed.

        “Gotcha.” You smirk.

“You're the absolute worst.” He deadpans.

“Yep,  and now Im going to dance.” You breathe starting to do so.

        “... I dont know you…” He frowns.

“Excuse me,” A familiar voice makes you freeze and look over your shoulder at the orange haired man.

“Ah… Hi…” You blush. He holds up your wallet.

“You left this at the cafe, sorry, I had to go through it so I could find you…” He says.

“Oh thanks..” You take it and put it in your pocket.

“Hey, you work at the cafe?” Law asks him. Drake gives a nod. “Tell them not to give her so much coffee.” He points to your drink tray, all were empty.

“Hey. Don't tell him that.” You object.

“You drank all of those by yourself…?” Drake questions you.

“___ is addicted to coffee, has no control.” Law folds his arms and you kick him in the rear. “Ow!”

        “I see… That is a problem…” Drake smirks, “I'll see what I can do.”

“Huh?” You huff as he takes his leave.

        “Five-”

“One black coffee.” Drake hums, setting the cup down. You pout at him lightly.

        “Come on now…” You object.

“I'll put in a speciality drink.” He says sliding over another drink.

“Fine…” You grumble, taking the cups to your seat. You sip at the black coffee, peeking at the specialty cup and stop, reading the words written on it.

‘Random Fact 1; Too much coffee is bad for you.’

You puff your cheeks at that, rotating the cup and blinking at something else that was written on it.

         ‘Random Fact 2; I think you're cute.’

A steady blush captures your face and you glance over at him, seeing him leaning over the counter, holding up a flower.

“So how about dinner?” He inquires.

“... Can I get more caffeine?”

         “Maybe.”

“Well I was already going to say yes, but that's a plus.”
