The day was bright, and you found him again. The same place as so many times before. As always he took your hand and guided you to the river to sit on the bank. “It’s beautiful today.” You comment.
“Mm not as beautiful as you.” He smiles, tattooed fingers caressing your skin like always. This daily ritual always felt like a dream. You grew closer and closer with each passing day. His eyes trail up to yours. “I love you.” The words were hushed, causing a rosy cloud to build on both your cheeks. Your heart flutters happily and you kiss him boldly.
“I love you too…” You breathe. “But…”
“I know… We’ll wake up from this dream and go about our days again… But I still think about you… Wonder if you’re real. I love you dearly, and the time we’ve spent here… Will we ever meet?”
“I believe it if you do. I love you… I’ll find you.”
“That’s my line… I can’t wait.”
“Neither can I.”

After the show finished you made your way to the club and joined Nami. She was counting money while you lounged in one of the chairs, thinking about what you had been doing while Nami was making her money. The door to the room you two were in opened and Zoro and Sanji walked in. Both men were still in their “dancing” clothes. You didn’t take notice a

For the Dancing and the Dreaming (SaboxReader)
He never expected to return to this hell hole. It’s pristine streets were still polished with the shoes of over privileged snobs, houses still standing too high for modesty. The revolutionary chief traveled all the way back to Dawn Island for one thing, and one thing only. To find someone. His black boots halted in front of a familiar house, too familiar for his liking. It was like he could see his father behind a pile of paperwork, and his mother in the parlour laughing with some of her ‘friends’ that would all go home and bad-mouth about her--but it didn't matter, because she would do that to them too.
But this wasn
