Stray pt2~ Mihawk x Reader

       "Hello!?" A voice jolts you from your sleep you get up, fur fluffing out and carefully stalking out. Mihawk has been gone for three days now so you're not in the best mood. You peer into the main room to see a girl with pink hair. You blink she didn't look threatening, just annoying.

"Leave!" You order making your voice echo the mansion. She stops becoming more intrigued than anything. She looks around for another person, soon spotting you and picking you up despite you hissing menacingly.

"What a cute kitty! Where's your master?" She asks looking around. You just growl and wiggling from her grasp. "What a mean kitty, but I'll forgive you because you're cute!" She decides.

Her name was Perona, and you couldn't seem to scare her off. You tried for a while then gave up when another appeared. A green haired guy that Perona seemed familiar with. He was badly injured and as much as you were against intruders, you decided to help them.

"Such a smart kitty," Perona smiles as you brought her bandages and medicine for him. One day you were woken up to screaming, swiftly running down stairs to check on them. Sure enough they were freaked out by eachother. You meow hopping onto the bed silencing them. You sniff at the guy and smack his nose.

"Ow!" He huffs. You paw at the bandages and meow at Perona before prodding his stomach bandage making him wince. She nods and changes his bandages. He grunts wincing a bit and looking after you as you stalk out.

You watch them from the window as the green haired guy searched for a way off the island. You were kind of glad he seemed to want to go but you were also worried about his injuries. You put your paws on the window, trying to get a better look at the two. The window suddenly opens and you tumble out.

You tense and are caught mid fall. "Careful mi pequena belleza." A familiar voice rumbles. You blink up into your master's golden eyes and mewl in surprise swiftly leaning up and cuddling his face happily, purring loudly. He chuckles stroking your fur. "I've missed you too." He breathes. His eyes trail to Perona and the guy.

"Roronoa?" He murmurs raising an eyebrow. You follow his gaze to the man, ears perking, so that was Zoro. You peer back at Mihawk and meow. "I'll speak with them," He assures setting you on a lower window seal. You purr in response and go inside and straight to Mihawk's room. You wait on his bed for him cheerfully.

He soon walks in and removes his coat. "Seems like you've been busy while I was away ___," He comments gathering some clothes. You mew in response, ears drooping slightly. He glances at you and comes over stroking your fur. "I brought back a gift for you, I'll give it to you after dinner." He murmurs nuzzling the top of your head. You blink and purr happily at that. He pulls away and goes into his personal bathroom to bathe.

You head out for the kitchen and start to get out something's for dinner. "Hey cat, where's your master?" A voice asks. You look back, Zoro stood in the door way watching you. You turn to him, pointing your nose toward the sink, moving your paw under the faucet with a meow. "Bathing?" He guesses. You purr at that, tail swishing at the thought. He nods and pats your head.

"Is this all for dinner?" He asks looking over the ingredients. You meow in response. "Need anything cut up?" He inquires. You perk up and meow, pawing at the knife drawer. He opens it and takes out a cutting knife. You then gesture to the fish and vegetables. "Diced or sliced?" He asks. You pause and give two meows. He nods again and starts to slice the ingredients. You watch him thoughtfully before retrieving the spices and your special sauce that you rarely use.

Zoro looks at the bottle curiously As you bring it over. "What's that?" He murmurs turning the bottle around for the label but not finding it. You just sit down and look toward the doorway as Mihawk appears in his home attire. You purr loudly as he blinks at the scene before him.

"I see you got some help, ___," He comments coming over and looking over the ingredients and smiling. "You know me so well mi pequena belleza.... Move to the side boy, I'll finish here." He rumbles. Zoro blinks and moves over, watching briefly as Mihawk takes over.

"That's a smart cat, where did you get her?" Zoro asks.

"A town I visited not long ago, standing in the middle of the road while it was storming." Mihawk answers, peering at you and smiling a bit. Zoro raises an eyebrow at you but doesn't ask anymore questions.

After dinner is over, Mihawk carries you back to his room. "I suppose I can let them stay if they choose... You don't seem to mind the extra company." He murmurs as he closes his door. You mew quietly cuddling his cheek. He smiles softly and sits down on the bed with you.

"I've missed you, ___," He murmurs, pulling out a dark jeweled collar with a golden cross on it. You blink at it in awe, ears perking. He chuckles quietly and puts it around your neck. Your gaze follows the cross. Such a beautiful gift, more stunning then any you've ever received. You sniffle tears filling your eyes. "What's wrong mi pequena belleza?" He murmurs. You nuzzle his cheek, giving him an affectionate lick, purring loudly. He relaxes stroking your fur. "I'm glad you like it."

You cuddle him more as he removes his boots and lays down. Before long he was fast asleep. You blink at his peaceful face and smile a bit before going out the room, down the hall to a vacant room. You ease in going to the mirror and changing into your human form. You look at yourself closely and smile widely touching the cross. "Thank you master." You breathe happily. After admiring your gift you change back and head out. Freezing outside the door and looking over at Zoro who leaned on the wall. Your eyes widen as they lock with his.

"Goodnight ___." Was all he says before straightening up and walking away. You watch after him uneasily. Did he see?
