It was bothering you now, what the hell was he staring at you for? Did he know? You frown more, rubbing your cheek and going down the stairwell. You pause, cursing at the heavy scent of blood as it soon leads you to a bloody massacre of three students.
“Shit….” You breathe pulling out your blade just as blackened blood drips onto your shoulder and you look up at the demon as it grins at you. “… That’s gross dude…”
The bell rang but she didn’t return, her belongings were still there though. Killer went over, grabbing her bag before heading out of class just as. Bone chilling scream echoes the hall from the stairwell. Killer blinks and moves to see what caused the commotion when he feels a tug on her bag. He looks over meeting her gaze. “…. Thank you.” She manages taking her bag before moving on, not looking back as panic and the whispers of murder suddenly fill the halls.
Killer pushes his way through the crowd to see what it was and is met with gruesome scene. He covers his mouth, taking a step back as teachers rush by and try to calm the students. The puddle of tar didn’t evade him though. Another one of those things, so that woman had been here…
You growl as you change outfit and fix your hair, throwing glares at the injury on your shoulder. “Dammit…” You hiss cleaning up before heading out swiftly. There were still many students in the hall, panicked and scared. Your eyes narrow and you hurry out, pulling out a cigarette and lightning it before pulling out your phone to call your medic.
“You sure are calling a lot lately…” He answers.
“Yeah… I’m coming over right now, call boss and tell em we have a situation at the high school…” You respond annoyed.
“…. It must be pretty bad if you’re smoking… Hurry.” He says before hanging up. You sigh heavily and get in your sleek black car. “Turn on Baby.” You tell it, putting your bag in the back as the car starts itself. You look to the school and exhale a cloud of smoke before driving out of the parking lot.
‘Zzt, seatbelt….’ The mechanical voice reminds you.
“Right…” You mutter pulling on your seatbelt. “Hey Baby, can you put something on?” You sigh trying to relax as you drive for the medics place. The car radio comes on, tuning to your favorite station.
By the time you reach point B you were relaxed. You toss away your cigarette as you head inside. “Hey handsome, did you miss me?” You ask making a large pure white husky burst from a room and into you.
“I might have.” A voice makes you look at the handsome medic as he smirks.
“I was talking to Bepo nut that’s assuring.” You retort straightening up and taking off your jacket.
“You could’ve at least attempted to treat it….” He sighs.
“Meh, didn’t feel like it,” You brush past him and sit on the medical table he had ready for you. He goes straight to work.
“Its getting worse huh? I heard one hit a convenience store nearby earlier,” He comments.
“Yeah, I handled that one… But three people died before I did… and today’s total fail count is six…” You sigh, moving to take out another cigarette out but he stops you.
“There’s better ways to handle frustration than killing your lungs.” He informs you.
“Oh? Like what?” You question.
“Well, if you had a person that you can be intimate with-“
“Shall I kick you now or later?”
“Don’t get annoyed ___, I’m just saying that maybe you wouldn’t get so agitated if you had someone that could take some of your frustration.”
“I suppose you have a point Law.” You murmur as he finishes and steps back. He smiles until you punch him in the shoulder. “I don’t feel better Law.” You deadpan as he holds his shoulder.
“Ow… You know that’s not what I meant!” He growls.
“I’m not interested in getting physical like that with anyone. It complicates things. I rather take my frustration out on the next demon that comes on my radar…” You go past him.
“Oh, boss said that he’ll be sending back up here sine there’s more popping up,” He informs you.
“As long as they don’t get in my way, I don’t care.” You tell him before heading out.
Killer couldn’t believe this bullshit. Today was just…. Bad… Those things… Those dead bodies… The blood… So much of it. He shakes his head trying to focus on his car engine which had decided that today was a great day to break down. Dammit. He was barely near his house, and besides that he could barely focus as it was.
He sighs, closing his eyes as he tries to figure out what he needed to do for engine, ignoring the rumble of another car as it passes by. But the engine doesn’t fade but returns, making him peer back a the sleek black car pulls back behind him. Someone actually stopped to help?
Then she got out and his heart skipped a beat. She doesn’t even glance at him as she grabs some tools from her trunk, saying something before turning away as the trunk closes on its own. “You wanna got turn it on real quick?” She asks looking at the engine.
“What’s your name?” He inquires, making her pause.
“You can call me… Zarg the immortal.” She smirks to herself. Killer frowns.
“No.”
“Tree Sally?”
“No.”
“The amazing Spider-Man?”
“….. You’re really not going to tell me your name?”
“Nope.”
“…. Then I’ll call you Beautiful.” He decides. She shifts and he didn’t miss the pink on her cheeks build.
“Start the car already…” She scoffs. Killer smiles and gets in his car and tries to start it. “Hey… How’s your gas?” She asks. Killer pauses and tries again, looking at the gas gauge. He felt like an idiot.
“…. Empty….” He answers putting a hand over his face as she closes the hood of the car.
“I’ll get you some gas,” She turns to go to her car and Killer swiftly grabs his wallet and gets out, following her.
“I’ll ride with you.” He says, quickly getting in the passenger side of her car. She pauses, frowning before getting in her side.
“Alright Baby, turn on.” She sighs making Killer pause. The car rumbles to life at that.
“Voice activated?” He asks.
“Nah. My baby just understands me.” She jokes patting the steering wheel before pulling on her seatbelt and driving off.
“Zzt… Intruder seatbelt…” The mechanical voice sounds surprising Killer.
“He is an intruder.. Put your seatbelt on intruder.” She tosses him a smirk. He smiles a bit and pulls on his seatbelt.
“I’ve never been a car like this…” He rumbles.
“Yeah… Don’t get used to it, next time you get in my car without permission, I’ll have Baby punish you.” She warns him.
“You’re kinda random you know…” He comments.
“Random?... No, you just can’t keep up with my thoughts. Keep up Killer.” She tells him.
“How do you know my name anyways?” He questions, she pauses.
“You told me this morning.” She says.
“I did not.” He huffs.
“You did, you don’t remember because the shock blocked it out.” She waves dismissively.
“Alright fine…. At least tell me what that thing was.”
“It was a demon! Well, that’s what we call them. They pop up sometimes just to slaughter people and mix their blood with their tar bodies..” She purses her lips.
“I… There’s such a thing?”
“You saw it didn’t you? You wouldn’t have seen if the hadn’t started popping up randomly… Troublesome.”
“Sounds like you need help.” He breathes watching her carefully.
“I don’t need anyone… And if you continue to stare at me, I’m going to poke you in the eye with my pinkie.” She holds up her pinkie and Killer chuckles.
“But you’re so beautiful I can’t help it.” He says. She stops next to a gas pump and looks at him.
“Baby are you hungry?” She asks opening the door.
“Zzt… No…” The answer sounds and she gets out, closing the door and heading into the store. Killer follows after her quickly.
“So, you got a boyfriend?” He hums.
“Yeah. His name is Prince Dracula the eighth.” She chuckles grabbing some snacks and a drink.
“…. You know, saying no would be easier.” He sighs.
“Just get your gas so I can return you and you can forget about me.” She gives a smile. Killer frowns but does so. They get back in her car and she drives back toward where they left the other car.
You suddenly stop the car and look around with a curse. “ What’s wrong?” Killer asks.
“We’re taking a detour…” You sigh. This really wasn’t your day.

If he went home now, he would be there maybe half an hour before he would have to leave again. Zoro grumbles to himself, before shoving his phone back in his pocket.
He didn’t even notice the young raven-haired man run up to him.
