Law felt offended, this was the monster he was to be fighting? The Stallo goes past, grunting dumbly. How was he supposed to show off his magic against this idiot? Law frowns, easing through the forest to the meadow and humming deciding to use his magic to make a large pitfall for the creature.
With a sigh, he opens a vile and blows magic into it before dropping it in and watching it fill up with a toxic liquid, starting to sing loudly as he make a thin layer of grass reach over it. “Come on~ You stupid shit~” He sings, hearing the creatures clumsy approach. He smirks at the Stallo when it appears and offers a wave.
The Stallo roars and charges him, falling through the pitfall and into the acid and shrieking as it’s skin is eaten away. Law sighs once the shrieking stops. “Disappointing…” He grumbles before going back to the door and going through. He relaxes when he sees you.
“Good job Law. We got lucky.” Ace waves from where he sat with you, Kid, and Sabo.
“Just Luffy-ya and Zoro-ya now right?” Law breathes going over to sit with them.
“Yeah, Luffy’s up against wendigo.” Sabo answers, frowning at one of the screens. “And Zoro still hasn’t found his opponent.”

“Aw… I want one…” Luffy frowns, dodging one of it’s. He didn’t like killing things, especially when it was a cool creature. The reddish skeleton like creature slashes at him wildly. One of the claws slash through his skin and he flips away, arm stretching back. “Red-Hawk!!” His fist ignites before he punches the creature. It shrieks out before disappearing into the forest again. Luffy frowns lightly, drinking the potion you had given him.
He chases after the wendigo swiftly. It kept running away, and each time it reappeared it was back in full health. He’d have to pummel it to make sure it stayed down. A flash of red and he back flips out of the way as claws rack down where he had been. He stretches his leg, kicking off it’s head.  “Oh. I got….” He blinks, as the reddish leaves above shift. He looks up and pales as fifty or more wendigos leap up, shielding the sky above with their bodies. “A trap…” He whispers as they start to come down. He grits his teeth.
           “Red-Hawk Gatling!”

Zoro frowns heavily at the old suit of armor, where was he? Lost again it seemed. He sighs, and looks over, hearing something in the hall. Finally,  was his opponent here. He goes out to face the large minotaur. The beast stamps it’s hoof, releasing a roar before swinging it’s axe.
“Too slow.” Zoro dodges, slashing with his enchanted blades. The green slash knocks off the minotaur’s bracers. It roars, swinging at him and knocking him through a wall or two.
He sits up with an unhappy frown, jumping to his feet and slashing at it again. The green slash doesn’t pierce it’s chest as it lunges, hoof hand pulling back before crashing into the floor where he stood. Zoro jumps back onto a window sill as the floor gives in, and pulls the minotaur onto a lower floor.
“Alright, I’ll take off. It’s head before it gets back up…” He breathes, leaping down with swords glinting with power. He slashes down at it as the minotaur raises it’s head. The attack met it’s mark, but his stomach meets the tip of the minotaur’s horn at the last moment.
He lets out a bloody cough, touching the horn as the minotaur goes limp. His hand slips on the blood before his body goes limp and everything goes black.

Luffy staggers through the door, bloody and weak. “Zoro!” Law’s cry makes him stop and look over to see the tan wizard looking at the screen with grief and shock. Luffy looks at the screen, shoulders drooping.
“No… No…. That’s not….” He touches the screen, his blood smearing it as Zoro’s vacant face is shown. “That’s not right…” He whispers, tears escaping his eyes. “Z-ZORO!” He cries out half hoping his voice would reach his friend. “Zor….” He passes out then, collapsing onto the floor.
“Luffy!” Sabo rushes to his brother’s side, pulling him into his arms as Ace moves beside them.
“We got you Luffy… We’re here…” Ace touches his arm worriedly.

This place wasn’t one you recognized, it seemed like a faded and traditional town. You look around with a frown. “Where am I… Did I die?” You mutter with a frown.  “Grandpa? You here?” You call out.
“… ___?” Another voice responds. You look around again, turning the corner and blinking at the shape.
“… Zoro…?” You call, making him turn around.  He seemed genuinely lost and dazed. “Are you okay? What’s wrong?” You go over to him worriedly.
“I.. I think I messed up ___.... Are we… Are you dead too?” He asks softly with a frown. You blink and shake your head slowly.
“I made it out…. Didn’t you?” You question. He meets your gaze and his expression makes your heart drops.
“This sucks… I wanted to get to know you better…” He murmurs, looking down and starting to glow. You swiftly grab his arm, making him look at you.
“S-Stay with me. Link yourself to me.” You breathe.
“I… I don’t know how.” He tells you.
“Maybe I can help.” Your grandfather’s voice makes you both look over. Zoro’s eyes widen in shock.
“Wh-Who are you?” He questions the man.
“Pay attention Zoro. See this pendant? Focus all of your power on it.” Grandfather instructs. Zoro blinks and exchanges a glance woth you before gripping the pendant firmly.
“In case this doesn’t work… I’m glad we met.” He offers a smile and pecks your cheek before focusing and glowing brighter, with a flash he’s gone.
“Now leave here before you’re stuck ___.” Grandfather tells you. You don’t move, looking at where Zoro had been.
“You said they’d be alright…” You whisper. He frowns lightly, red eyes softening briefly.
“I can’t tell the future…” He sighs. “But this path will only get harder from here. And death is inevitable.” He murmurs.  You look at him, as his eyes harden, starting to glow. “If you continue, no matter what path, death will find its way to everything you love. It’s up to you whether or not they’re free when they go.”
“… I understand…” You look down before closing your eyes.

*~**~*

Your eyes ease open to the ceiling and you sit up, body burning and aching, making you lay back down with a soft breath. You look around weakly, finding you alone in yours and Sabo’s room. You look back up at the ceiling, unable to do much more.
“Do you think they’ll let us go into a dungeon to get the plant?” Sabo inquires as he and Law come in.
“Perhaps but- she’s awake…” He mutters when you look at them.
“___! You’re finally awake!” Sabo gasps swiftly coming over and hugging you, kissing your cheek repeatedly.  A soft giggle escapes you.
“How long have I been out?” You ask with a light blush.
“About a week, you burnt your veins when you took in too much juice, you must be in pain.” Law murmurs,  glowing hands ghosting over you. You feel some relief and relax a bit, looking between them.
“…. Zoro….” You manage, making them freeze. “He didn’t make it… Did he?” You whisper, starting to shake and tear up. Your body screams in pain as you cover your eyes.
“H-Hey… It’s going to be okay…” Sabo touches your hand. “We’re still here…”
‘Hey… I thought that thing worked… Why are you crying?’ Your eyes open and you move your arms down to look up at the apparition. He offers a small smile, ‘Good morning ___.’
“Oh… Right… Good morning guys…” You offer a small, shaky smile. Sabo relaxes a bit and gives a small relieved smile along with Law.
“Good morning ___.” They breathe. Law goes back to healing you steadily.
“A-Are you hungry? I’ll get you whatever you want.” Sabo offers softly.
“Pancakes…” You smile. He nods and rushes out at that. You glance at Law quietly.  “Are you okay Law?” You murmur.  He meets your gaze silently before looking down.
“Zoro was… A good friend and roommate… I do miss him… I haven’t slept in my room since…” He admits, sitting beside you.  “And once you’re healed, I wont have a reason to avoid it.” He frowns lightly. You blink up at him, before reaching up painfully and gently bringing his head to your shoulder.
“You can stay as long as you need to Law…” You whisper,  kissing his hair. Law relaxes and closes his eyes as he lays partially on you. You look over at Zoro as he reaches down and pats Law’s back.
‘Right back at you Law… Sorry I didn’t come back…’ He frowns lightly.  ‘At least… Not where you can see me…’ You frown too and wrap your arms around Law’s shoulders. A soft breeze sweeps a strand of hair from your face as Zoro brushes it away. ‘Thank you ___, I think I would’ve gotten lost on that otherside.’ He adds. You offer a slight nod to him.
By the time Sabo returns, Law is fast asleep on you. You give a slight wave when he pauses. “I took him out for you.” You give a thumbs up and he chuckles lightly, coming over with the food.
“Alright, I brought guests.” He peers at the door as Luffy, Ace, Drake and Kid come in, giving you smiles.
“Finally up? I thought I could out sleep you but you win.” Kid jokes lightly.  You tilt your head at him, something seemed off but you couldn’t focus on him enough to figure out what.
“Well you didn’t have someone always cuddling up to you while you were out so you didn’t want to stay asleep.” Ace chuckles.
“… Cuddlers…” You smile, running a hand through Law’s hair.  “Im glad you guys are okay.” You breathe as Luffy crawls into your bed to cuddle you too.
“Especially those two.” Ace motions to Law and Luffy. “Sabo tried but they always got in first.”
You giggle lightly as Sabo blushes at that, throwing a glare at Ace. “Here, I’ll help you sit up.” Kid hums coming over as you lift yourself up a bit. He moves an arm around you and carefully helps you sit up against the pillows Sabo props up behind you.
Then it hits you, and you turn to Kid painfully, hand coming over his left shoulder softly.  You both freeze and you let out a shaky breath. “Kid…” You murmur softly.  He covers y9ur mouth with his hand.
“Don’t make that face. I can work with this.” He assures you, offering a smile.
“He already has a plan since he wont take the lizard potion.” Drake pipes up.
“The main side effects are scales and shrinking, I don’t want to risk either.” Kid takes his hand from your mouth to point at Drake.  “And I remember when you lost your leg, that regeneration shit looks gross.”
“True, but this is now my good leg.” Drake hums.
‘It took a month for it to fully  grow, and for the first week it looked like he had a baby leg fused to t stump.’ Zoro informs you.
“Oh… Eh…” You shudder slightly.  “I don’t think I could take that route either Drake.”
“Besides. I have something badass in mind.” Kid smirks. You look up at the redhead, admiring his strength. Even if he had lost his arm, and friend,  he was trying to stay upbeat about everything. Was he doing that for you?
“You have to tell me your plans.” You hum, starting to eat.
“I’ll tell you all about it.” He hums.
