Beautiful Monster~ Chopper x Reader *Oneshot*

           "Mm how about a cotton candy cake?" You muse to Sanji thoughtfully, watching Chopper's cute little face light up and giggle a bit. Sanji chuckles. 

           "Is that really what you want?" Sanji inquires. You nod with a smile. 

           "Of course!" You assure getting up, "Come on Chopper, lets go fish!" You decide, leading out the reindeer. He was your best friend and you just loved to do things to spoil the little cutie. You sit on the railing, helping the little guy up and starting to fish. Chopper was oddly quiet today, glancing periodically at you.

           "Something wrong Chopper?" You ask, meeting his curious gaze. He blinks, ears flickering. 

            "No I was just thinking about how we met," He says, looking at his fishing rod. "You called yourself a monster, like I used to..." He murmurs. You blink, starting to recall that day. 

            You slide down against the wall, bloody and bruised. You had gotten jumped, and tried to escape but they wouldn't stop. You snapped, and when you came back...

            "What a monster I am..." You murmur, eyes closing. You must've fallen asleep because when you woke you were being bandaged up by a cute little- "Reindeer?" You murmur. He jumps and looks at you in surprise. 

            "You're awake! Good, I'm glad you're okay!" He says with a cute little smile. You blink and look down at the bandages. 

            "You shouldn't have bothered... I'm just a monster... " You murmur. The reindeer frowns and suddenly transforms into a large humaniod.  You blink in surprise at him. 

            "Don't say that! I used to call myself a monster too, but my crew showed me I'm not... They can show you you aren't too," He says, smiling a bit. You blink and blush a bit. 

            "I don't know..." You begin. 

           "Chopper? Where are you!? We got to go the marines are here!" A green haired man calls, coming into view. 

           "Can I bring my friend?" He asks, and you blink in surprise. 

         "Sure, grab her and lets go!" The man replies. With that you are picked up and carried off. You try  to object but kinda didn't want to. And that's how you met Chopper and joined the crew.

          "And if you think you're a monster still, then you're a beautiful monster," He says cutely, giving you another smile. You blush and giggle, suddenly hugging the little reindeer and kissing his furry cheek. 

          "Daw! I love you Chopper!" You giggle. He blinks and starts to do his cute little happy dance. 

          "I love you too ___!" He says cheerfully. "Oh! And happy birthday!"
