"What?" You question, brow twitching. Sengoku blinks at the dark aura that leaps about you.
"Hawkeyes as not answered his denden, so I'm sending you as a messenger," He repeats.
"I don't wanna, send someone else," You say grumpily.
"We can't do that, and it's important that he comes to this meeting," He tells you, standing up. You make a face.
"Alright... Do I have to go alone?" You sigh.
           "Yes," He replies bluntly.
"Sengoku-san! You can't be serious! You're sending me to that pirate alone!?" You object. He blinks at you in surprise.
"What's wrong? Hawkeyes is the most mild one of the warlords, I doubt he'll give you any trouble," He points out. You shut your mouth at that. There wasn't any real reason for your reaction, except that you were nervous.
"You're right sir. Sorry for my insubordination," You say, returning to your normal self.
"Try to take it easy, contact us if anything goes wrong," He tells you, handing over the lockpost.
            "Yessir,"

You frown at the storm, then at the creepy looking island that the lockpost was pointing toward. "I'll make this quick and easy," You mutter, tossing down an anchor as close to the island as you could before taking a boat to the island. You pull the boat onto the shore, looking at the large dark mansion. You blink up at it. "Definitely his place..." You mutter, starting for it. A shape suddenly leaps at you. You jump back, smacking the large ape in the back of the head.
"No! That's no way to greet someone!" You scold, making the giant ape flinch and pout. "No," You tell it again. The ape retreats to its startled troop, still pouting. Now a bit annoyed, you start for the mansion again. The dark clouds above suddenly unleash a heavy down pour, soaking you within moments. You toss a glare at the sky and it flickers with a deafening  boom in response.  "Right back at you," You growl as you go up the steps to the door and knocking loudly. You step back, trying to situate yourself despite the fact that you were still being pelted by the heavy down pour. Why now of all times? This had to be an omen. The door finally opens and the handsome owner of the mansion opens the door. His golden orbs blink in surprise.
              "Vice Admiral-"
"Important warlord meeting one week from now, show up," You tell him cutting him off. He blinks again as you turn away abruptly.
"Come inside, you're no match for the storm," He tells you over the rain.
"I'll take my-" BA-BOOM!CRACKLE! A blinding column of lightning strikes the ground a few feet a away, making you pause. "You have tea right?" You ask as you walk past him into the cover of the mansion. He smirks and closes the door behind you.
"Yes, but first, I'll get you some clothes to change into," He replies,  leading you down a hall. You peer around curiously at the well crafted antique furniture, taking in every detail of the rather gloomy but luxurious interior of the aged mansion. You were looking around so curiously that you didn't know he stopped in front of you until the scent of his cologne caught your nose. You blink and back off instantly as he turns. His golden eyes flicker over your form briefly before going into a room and searching through the closet, tossing a towel at you before grabbing some clothes and walking into a bathroom. You shift as you hear water running, becoming even more nervous. He comes back out. "The tub is filling up, I put the clothes next to the tub... Take a bath and warm up, I will come by to check if you're not out in twenty minutes," He tells you before briskly leaving the room and closing the door. You gap at the door.
"What a generous host..." You mutter before going and locking yourself in the bathroom. You swiftly strip off your cold wet clothes, laying them out carefully before sinking into the soothing warm water. You relax, blinking in surprise at the perfect temperature. You go under briefly to warm yourself up faster. You let out a breath when your head breaks water. A slight giggle escapes you. How odd was this? You shake your head, letting your temperature settle before getting out, drying off and putting on the clothes he had picked for you. You pause, glancing at yourself in the mirror once you were done. Your shoulders slump, you now looked like a pirate.
With a slight sigh, you go back out to the room and then to the hall. Stopping to glance around the hall, you use haki to see if anyone was in the mansion.  You scoff at what you find.
"Seriously, he lives here alone?" You huff.
"Is there a problem with that?" He asks from behind you. You turn to him.
"Not even a maid?" You inquire.
"I have no need of one," He replies, shifting slightly.
"No wonder you come to most of the meetings..." You mutter. He blinks, and turns away at that.
"I have a different reason to come to the meetings other than being lonely or bored," He says, starting down the hall. You lift an eyebrow at his back before going after him.
"Then what is your reason? If you don't mind me asking," You inquire. He his gaze goes to you briefly.
"Why are you here ___?" He shoots back. You give the back of his head a frown.
"Because some Warlord has been ignoring the Marine's calls," You remind him. "So I had to come all the way out here by myself," You grumble, glowering out the windows as another flicker of lightning flashes across the sky.
"They sent you by yourself? Do they really think I'm that civil?" He rumbles, suddenly turning on you with flashing golden eyes. You pause, blinking in brief surprise at his slightly alluring demeanor.
"Back off before I send you flying all the way to the headquarters," You warn with a slight, unimpressed frown. He blinks, lips pulling back in a slightly amused smile.
"Of course they sent you," He murmurs, turning back around before walking back down the hall again.
"What was that? You messing with me Dracule?" You question, going after him again.
"Just checking on something. I notice you're not being shy this time," He says in a tone that makes you feel like he's teasing you.
"Tch, why would I be shy? You're just a pirate," You grumble.
"I remember you calling me a generous host not too long ago," He comments.
"You.... You heard that?" You stammer with a slight blush. A chuckle rumbles in his chest.
"I don't just have keen sight," He informs you, glancing back. "Nice shade of red by the way," He adds, looking ahead again. Your blush darkens at that and you click your tongue in embarrassment.  You reach the large, spacious kitchen and stand stop to look around curiously. Couldn't help but to take in every smooth a classical detail of it, etching it in your memory since there is a very good chance you'll never be able to see this place again. He turns to you with two fresh cups of tea and pauses to watch you look about curiously and admiringly. "Would you like a tour after tea?"
"Tour?" You echo as your eyes snap out of their trance, sliding over to him instantly. You pause, as he offers a cup. Had he been watching you look around? "Ah... Well... I suppose, if the storm doesn't let up soon-" As if your words were jinxed, everything goes dark. "This island must have it out for me," You mutter before taking a blind sip of the tea he had handed you. "This is good tea by the way," You add, glancing into the darkness where you thought he was.
"Thank you ___," His breath sweeps across your ear, sending a chill down your spine and making your heart skip a beat.
"Ah dammit Dracule! I told you not to do that!" You gasp, flinching away and rubbing your ear on your shoulder, glad that the darkness was present to conceal your blush.
"I can't help it when you react like that," He chuckles. You glower toward the sound of his voice.
"You won't be able to help it when I kick your ass," You grumble. He chuckles again.
"You're always so fiery," He muses. The lights comes back on and you look around, finding yourself suddenly alone.
           "....Dracule?"
